The Saving Sally Campus Drive was held on December 14, 2016 at the School of Architecture, Fine Arts and Design (SAFAD) theatre as part of the university’s SAFAD week. It was an open forum for Cinema students as this event is directly related to their field. The event also included a preview of the upcoming indie film entitled “Saving Sally”, directed by Avid Liongoren and starring Rhian Ramos and Enzo Marcos.
The campus drive began with a series of interview questions from the audience regarding the films production, and which theaters the film would be screened at. As the question and answer portion went on, it was announced that “Saving Sally” will be open in theaters at SM and Robinson’s.
When the open forum concluded, the speakers and the audience discussed about how marketing works in indie films and the strategies of successfully producing a well-received film. The speakers also gave a synopsis of the film.
After the open forum, a first glance of the film’s trailer, a mixture of live-action presentation and animation, was shown. Saving Sally has become an official entry to the 2016 Metro Manila Film Festival.
