SSC 2015-2016 Conducts First Session

To gear up for the upcoming academic year, the newly-elected Supreme Student Council (SSC) conducted their first session earlier at the SSC Office. The agenda discussed were the assigning of committees, a proposed orientation seminar for the incoming first years and other matters.
The SSC committees were formed through garnering names of possible members who volunteered or who were nominated. Afterward, the whole council voted from the list of possible members, with each committee having five with one member as a leader. A councilor can be part of at most two committees.
The first committee to be finalized was the finance committee, which is led by Hon. Cha Cabahug and further composed of Hon. Shawn Go, Hon. Lorelyn Sacol, Hon. Andrew Alcantara and Hon. Alex Bajarias.
The complaints, grievances and investigation committee has Hon. Janna Lim as its head and Hon. Kerinna Atillo, Hon. Lorelyn Sacol, Hon. Niveno Ocdinaria and Hon. Maurice Baguio as its members.
Hon. Arvin Yu leads the spirtual development committee, which is further composed of Hon. Jeff Go, Hon. Janna Lim, Hon. Andrew Alcantara and Hon. Vicente Alcarez.
The public relations committee is headed by Hon. Kendrick Siao and further composed of Hon. JD Abines, Hon. Angela Bueno, Hon. Shawn Go and Hon. Johari Villegas.
The socio-cultural affairs committee has Hon. Leah Calomarde as its head and Hon. Alex Bajarias, Hon. Pam Gallardo, Hon. Johari Villegas and Hon. Macy delos Reyes as its members.
Hon. Macy delos Reyes leads the research and documentation committee with Hon. Arvin Yu, Hon. Pam Gallardo, Hon. Kendrick Siao and Hon. Vicente Alcarez as its members.
The extra-curricular affairs committee is composed of Hon. Cass Rodriguez as head and Hon. Jeff Go, Hon. Maurice Baguio, Hon. Kerinna Atillo and Hon. Leah Calomarde.
Lastly, the committee on appointments is led by Hon. Carl Albaño and composed of Hon. JD Abines, Hon. Niveno Ocdinaria, Hon. Cha Cabahug and Hon. Angela Bueno.
Hon. Alcantara and Hon. Bajarias then presented the proposed orientation seminar for the incoming first years, which is a project by the Warrior’s Turf.
President Marc Ong, vice president Khen Aquino, 17 councilors and three secretaries were present during the session.

It is really dfflicuit for me to relate the current you to the impression you gave me in junor school. So completely different and so great change is found all over you. It is amazing. I don’t know what would change someone so much and so fast and so completely. Anyway, you are changing for the better, I mean to say. Good luck, man and keep moving on. You are doing great.
