STEM Night 2014
Carolinians gathered during the culmination of STEM Week, the STEM Night which was held at the University of San Carlos – Talamban Campus Basketball Court yesterday, August 1.
The goal of the activity was to create an event that would serve as a channel to the Carolinian community regarding the message on environmental awareness and protection.
STEM Night is one of the main activities prepared by the Supreme Student Council, in lieu of Student Ecological Movement (STEM). Unlike last year which was conducted for only a week, this year’s STEM would be conducted throughout the whole year and had been commenced on the month of July through STEM Week.
To start the night, a series of band performances were launched by THE F.A.R.T, Kickstart and GPS Band. The audience was serenaded with the songs performed by the bands and even with the stage being wet caused by the rain, they were able to perform to the crowd’s delight.
The event also featured several Carolinian talents from different colleges to show their support to the council’s movement. Among these talents are: the School of Health Care Professions (SHCP) Popjazz team, Rejustify Crew, CAS Royale, College of Education (CoEd) Popjazz team, Undefined, USC Dance Club, Kimpoy Mainit, and Virtuoso.
The night ended with a bang as Kinesyx performed with their cool outfits accompanied with an upbeat, lively and crowd-catching music.
