SSC Launches IDiscount
The USC Supreme Student Council (SSC) launched IDiscount 2014 today at the lobby of the Lawrence Bunzel Building, Talamban Campus.
IDiscount is a project by the SSC that enables students to receive discounts, free items and services from different establishments in Cebu City. It is a venture which is a continuation of a project from the previous year that held the same name.
SSC Councilors Melissa Reanne de la Cruz and Eugene Phillipe Labella are the main proponents of the project.
During the launching activity, establishments in partnership with the program were introduced. These are Holiday Gym; Leisure Spa and Wellness Center; ALA Gym; Jango’s Café; The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, IT Park, Ayala New Wing and Cybergate branches; Balkon Resto Bar and KTV; Aicila Suites; Watever Family KTV; Red Box: Rock, Dine and Roll; 2Xplore Outdoor Classroom; HP Acebedo Optical Clinic, Elizabeth Mall branch; Dolce Café; Manggahan; Big Flat Bread; Maegan’s Bakeshop; Camino Burger; Topokki Man; Alejandro’s Crispy Pata; Park ‘n Go Bakeshop; Sinugba, Bai!; Zucré Pastry Shop; Tomo Café; Tuslob Buwa in Azul; Pink Restaurant, Lounge and Bar Games; Bananarific; Casa Escano Bed and Breakfast; Holiday Plaza Hotel; Grafik Nine Designs and Prints; JV Shop ‘n Shop, Cellphones and Accessories; iStyle, Smartphones and Tablets Accessories; and Islands, the Islands Group.
Representatives were also present from various establishments to advertise products and to distribute coupons for discounts and free items. These establishments included Alejandro’s Crispy Pata, Topokki Man, Zucré Pastry Shop, Jango’s Café, Tomo Café, Bananarific and Grafik Nine.
More establishments are to be added as partners of IDiscount, representatives from SSC said.
The event ended with a ribbon-cutting ceremony by de la Cruz and Labella.
