Playground
This playground was my happy place.
Swinging to-and-fro with my favorite swing,
Never did I miss a single thing.
This playground was my happy place.
Running around with my friends,
Our happiness never ends.
This playground was my happy place.
Almost every day, I came here to play,
I wanted to live here all day.
This playground was my happy place.
But that was before when I could still play,
Now, I’ll forever miss those days.
This playground is no longer my happy place.
No one should ever be happy, no way, no way.
It took my childhood, my living years away.
This playground is a scary place.
Whoever plays here can never win my death race.
You can never escape my eerie maze.
This playground is now a scary place.
I am just riding my favorite swing like I used to do.
But they came running like a tornado.
