Student Manual Revisions Expected in 2018
Carolinians can expect a revision to the student manual to take effect in 2018, spearheaded by the USC administration, the chairs and deans, Supreme Student council representatives and other stakeholders.
Small committees were formed during the first meeting on the revision. The Student Manual Revision Committee, specifically, are currently reviewing the different articles in the student manual and working on what specific changes shall be made. However, the USC administration is yet to plot schedules for monthly meetings of the committee.
“The main purpose of the revision is to update the existing manual, especially because in 2018, the K to 12 program will have an effect already on the tertiary education, and to make [the manual] relevant, specific and comprehensive,” stated Honeybabe Tagalog, SSC Councilor.
