The aim of the Young Public Manager and Developers Summit, according to four of its principal organizers, is to look into the important role of social media in the popularization of environmental policies and programs as well as in the operationalization of netizens in concrete actions.
The summit served as an avenue to uncover the interface of climate change and social media. It conducted a public discourse and workshop on how young Cebuano public managers and developers can take the lead in coming up with action agenda for climate change.
The topics tackled on the first day were #NetizensInAction for Climate Change with speakers Ms. Rafaela Jane Delfino, Researcher, OML Center Science for Climate Resilient Communities and Hon.
